Grand Boats was founded 25 years ago with a fundamental philosophy to design differently, embedding thoughtful, purposeful practices and detailing into our boats. Now a global leader in luxury RIB design and manufacturing, our commitment remains steadfast. We embed an incredible amount of thought into our boats so that there is less for you to think about when you’re out on the water. Exceptional Hull Design
The enhanced hull technology sets Grand apart from the rest. In partnership with renowned Nordic hull designer, our RIBs handle with confidence in all conditions and are incredibly agile and response. Long chines, a considerable deadrise and deep v combine with spray-deflecting tube technology to create a ride that is remarkably stable, dry and comfortable to handle. Passengers savour the feeling of cutting cleanly through chop and swell, rather than pounding against it, while those at the helm feel confidence while driving for cruising, speed or in rough seas.

Craftsmanship
At Grand, we remain committed to the art of boatbuilding; every component you see onboard out boats have been handcrafted, sewn, moulded and fitted in-house. These boats aren’t rolling off a conveyer belt or emerging from a 3D printer. We take an intentional, high-touch approach to boat building – it is what helps keep us closer connected to our boat designs and ensures great thought goes into every step of the design and build process.
The Details
What sets Grand apart from the rest is in the details; an indication of the high level of thought that is embedded into our designs. You’ll notice the defining negative curved angles in our fibreglass moulding, which not only enhance aerodynamics, but create more onboard space and give a visually striking appearance to our boats. The inclusion of retractive mooring cleats, large step plates and huge in-built storage lockers that sit deep into the hull (a space often unused in boat building) all combine to enhance the your experience.

Orca Hypalon
Orca engineered hypalon fabrics are the global industry best for inflatable tube materials. Unlike other tube materials – such as PVC – our durable hypalon tubing is designed to withstand against UV and extreme conditions, and doesn’t discolour with time. Orca Hypalon is tough and long-lasting, and crafted with the highest quality hypalon glue that ensures your tubes remain sealed and seamless.
Fibreglass
Moulded entirely in-house, our boats are crafted with fibreglass hulls. Not only do these make for a quieter ride, but fibreglass offers more refinement on hull design, enabling our hull designers to incorporate long chines into deep hulls for the ultimate handling and performance.
Spradling Upholstery
Utilising UV-resistant fabric from Spradling Upholstery, our in-house team hand stitch and fabricate the boat cushions themselves so that they mould perfectly to the design of our ergonomic seats.
Stainless Steel
Utilising Osculati – world renown for their nautical stainless steel hardware – our boats are finishes with stainless steel fixtures and fittings.
SeaDek Foam Flooring
A standard finish across every model, our RIBs are complete with SeaDek foam flooring, a non-slip cushioned surface that provides comfort and grip underfoot.
