I recently purchased a Grand G680 with a 200HP Yamaha and have been extremely happy with it.
I initially had some concerns about the lower sides of a RIB, especially with young children, but that has been absolutely no issue at all.
The boat feels very stable and inspires a lot of confidence in the chop. I was also a bit apprehensive that it might be a wet ride, but that definitely hasn’t been the case – it’s actually very dry and very smooth. It’s also very easy to handle, and everything feels solid and well built.
We’ve used it for offshore fishing and family day boating, and it has been excellent for both. Overall, a fantastic boat and one I’d definitely recommend.
Dan has been excellent the whole way through as well. He was very helpful in changing a few things for me, including putting in rod holders and changing the design of the ski pole. He also made getting the boat set up in the dry stack really easy. All round, just a great guy to deal with.
