Grand Boats Australia is set to unveil its new flagship, the Grand G980, at Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, marking the model’s Southern Hemisphere debut.
Featuring an overnight cabin, configurable entertaining area and twin-stepped hull, the G980 is the most advanced model in the brand’s 25-year history. The Ukrainian boat builder’s new flagship represents a significant evolution in scale, refinement and onboard liveability, while remaining true to Grand’s long-standing commitment to performance, safety and thoughtful design.
At 10 metres in length, the G980 has been engineered for extended days and overnight adventures on the water, offering the versatility modern boaters expect from their vessels.
Powered by up to 700HP and complete with a sharp-entry twin-stepped hull – designed in partnership with Swedish race boat designers Mannerfelt – the G980 is capable of speeds far exceeding 50 knots.

The lounge areas are fully adaptable, storage is generous, and customers have been consistently impressed by the headroom and finish inside the overnight cabin.”
Below deck, the cabin features a spacious double berth, enclosed toilet, integrated storage and ambient lighting. On deck, an integrated wet bar includes twin refrigerators, a stove and sink – enhancing the boat’s capability for extended entertaining. At the stern, folding bench seats transforms the aft cockpit from wrap-around lounge to a full sunbed in moments.
The G980 can also be optioned with a factory-fitted electric windlass, integrated bow thruster, and retractable sunshade extensions integrated inot the fibreglass hardtop.
