The European rigid inflatable boat and tender brand made a splash at this year’s Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, marking a major milestone in its arrival and growth in the Australian market.
With 12 models on display — showcasing Grand’s signature blend of European craftsmanship, advanced design, and innovative hull technology — the team saw strong interest and drove successful sales over four sun-soaked days at the show.
“Our debut at SCIBS exceeded our expectations in every way,” said Dan Arscott, Managing Director at Grand Boats Australia. “From day one of the show, our team received overwhelmingly positive feedback on the design, layout and – most importantly – the quality of our boats, which really distinguishes our range in the market.”
“We were especially pleased with the number of sales across all categories, including tenders, midsize RIBs, and even our flagship G750 and G850 models,” Dan added. “These sales included a mix of new customers to the brand and returning owners upgrading their models. It’s always incredibly rewarding to hear directly from owners about what they love about their boats and what keeps them coming back to Grand.”
Among the standout favourites were the G850, praised for its spacious layout, refined design, and twin-engine performance, and the G680, which impressed visitors with its sleek styling and generous feature set. The tender range also saw significant attention, particularly the G340 and S470, both of which generated strong sales and follow-up interest.
Following the event, the team has already seen additional sales and multiple sea trials booked. One show visitor described Grand Boats as “the highlight of the show for me.”
This year’s Sanctuary Cove event marked Grand Boats Australia’s first boat show since formally arriving in the region last July 2024. The factory-backed operation is led by Dan and Carly Arscott, who previously managed the Grand brand in the UK for 10 years.
“We’re thrilled with the reception of the brand so far – not just at the show but throughout Australia,” Dan said. “It’s been a fantastic first year, and we’re very excited for what’s ahead.”
Next up, Grand Boats will exhibit at the 2025 Sydney Boat Show, taking place at Sydney Show Ground from 14–17 August.
